What is included in the business travel insurance?
Frequently Asked Questions
The insurance is valid on a business trip, which begins when you leave your home or your office and ends when you return to one of these addresses. Your normal travel between your home address and your office is not considered a business trip. Depending on the policy, the insurance is valid on domestic trips, abroad or worldwide and may also include cover for leisure time trips. You can check the coverage from your employer. During your business trip, if you compete in some sports or do some high-risk sports activities like climbing, diving or off point down hill skiing, please check in advance with If how you are covered.

You should consider the safety of your journey regarding your state of health in relation to the length, distance and nature of your journey and the destination where you are travelling to. If you have an existing illness prior to the journey and it acutely and unexpectedly deteriorates during your journey and you need medical treatment in a hospital, please contact our assistance partner for further assistance. The assistance partner will guide you to a suitable facility and check if the treatment is covered by your insurance.
The insurance covers Covid-19 testing for persons with symptoms compatible with the infection as a part of the medical treatment of a travel illness. The insurance does however not cover costs for any medical certificates (or tests to acquire a certificate), doctor statements or alike.
The insurance does not cover examination costs due to normal pregnancy, but unforeseen complications and treatment thereof may be covered. Please check the insurance cover from your employer as there may be some exceptions.
